From initial needs assessment, to solution development, through final delivery, he effectively handles all aspects of outsourcing initiatives for leading organizations, primarily in Canada, Australia, UK, South Africa, and the Netherlands, as well as the US. Building on this background, he has developed expertise in managing the merging and aligning of cultural aspects in outsourcing arrangements.
As a Principal with Everest Group, he is the focal point for ensuring successful outcomes across multiple complex projects for clients in Energy, Utility, and Transportation industries. With a background spanning 20 years of diversified experience on the outsourcing provider side and in advisory services to buyers of outsourcing services, Robert is heralded for his expertise in building effective, balanced relationships between his clients and their service providers. He possesses comprehensive knowledge of HR and finance/accounting (F&A) processes, as well as cost modeling, data center installations/migrations and project management skills.
In addition to his global client engagements, Robert has supported multiple complex offshore outsourcing initiatives for IT services; call centers; and application, development and maintenance environments, and is a primary resource for remediation of outsourcing relationships.
Previously, as a Senior Managing Consultant for Business Development at MCI Systemhouse, Robert was responsible for leading major outsourcing engagements, including solution design, cost modeling, contract development, and negotiation.
Earlier in his career he served as Director of Technical Services at Affiliated Computer Systems (ACS), where he was responsible for developing and running all of the service provider’s IT mid-range environments.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma.
