Each team is comprised of a variety of roles.

Many of the research team members are former consultants or individuals with a background in primary research.  This team's role is to develop fundamental research that is purely sourcing-related, including insights on key drivers of value creation and growth in the marketplace.  They are able to call out key risks on execution and develop perspectives on what 'winning' company strategies should look like.  Over time, team members become specialist analysts and advisors in niche areas of the market, providing expert guidance and advice to COOs, CIOs, supplier organization Presidents, and others.

Information Analysts support research initiatives, collect data, conduct analyses and develop insights based upon their analyses.

Research Analysts manage specific pieces of a research agenda, study new analyses, write reports, develop expertise in their fields of research and interact with buyers, suppliers, subject matter experts and others in the process of developing and delivering their research.

Senior Research Analysts manage large research efforts, launch new initiatives and take responsibility for large portions of our research service lines.

Research Directors manage multiple research initiatives and research programs – from service marketing/strategy through delivery to our clients. They lead business development efforts, enhance our external reputation, and contribute to firm-building activities.

Vice Presidents of Research envision and lead a portfolio of research programs. They combine industry knowledge and thought leadership with an expertise in primary research in order to marshal data, analysis, ideas and recommendations into compelling research.

Business Information Services (BIS):

Knowledge Associates (KA) support the Knowledge Director in knowledge management activities, which involves capturing and maintaining intellectual capital generated across Everest’s consulting, research, and business development activities. KAs also support consultants and researchers, located globally, in their efforts to search and locate specific information or data. A KA will support consultants and researchers in their efforts to standardize and improve the quality of the documents for compliance with Everest formatting standards. This role facilitates training programs to improve level of awareness of knowledge available within Everest and supports and eventually own various activities related to information services.

Information Specialists. These team members are members of a 4-5 person team which focuses on building knowledge and capabilities to assist Everest Consulting and Research. These roles will typically include fact finding, compilation of data, synthesis and analysis of information used for client presentations and research reports.

Senior Information Specialists manage specific aspects of the project. This role has generally gained more exposure to key elements of research, consulting and outsourcing to be able to work on larger scope projects with consulting and research teams. Fact finding, compilation of data, synthesis and analysis of information are still core job functions of this role.
