Nick Andrews, an Everest Group Principal focused on Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), has over 25 years experience with outsourcing advisory and service provider organizations. He led or was a key team member in many of the largest European BPO deals. He is well recognized throughout the outsourcing industry as a thought leader. Nick has vast experience in HR, F&A, procurement, and IT transitions. His specialty areas include contract negotiation, sourcing strategies, and governance frameworks.
Career experience includes launch of specialist sourcing/outsourcing advisory business EightyTwenty Insight. He also served as Managing Director at sourcing advisory firm EquaTerra, a role in which he was responsible for operations and service delivery in Europe. He led many key engagements for consumer packaged goods companies and government organizations.
Nick was a founding partner at ALSbridge Consulting for four years, where he developed transformation sourcing strategies and was responsible for contract negotiation, strategy, and management services.
Prior to EquaTerra and ALSbridge, he was a Partner with Ernst & Young, charged with developing its European outsourcing practice. He led the negotiation of the London Cluster for the National Health IT program. He also successfully created an innovative joint venture with BAT to form a global Siebel consultancy.
He was an Associate Partner and Head of Business Development at Accenture (and, earlier, in various roles when it was known as Andersen Consulting). He was responsible for creating the firm’s outsourcing offering for West Europe (France, Germany, Benelux, and Switzerland) and implementing rigorous qualification and review processes for large-scale opportunities. He also led the Deal Shaping and Contract Negotiation partner-training programs globally.
Earlier in his career, he worked with EDS and with Hewlett-Packard. At EDS, he was Senior Negotiator in Europe and the Far East. He reviewed and approved Systems integration, BPO, and facilities management opportunities. He analyzed the ROI of proposed outsourcing arrangement. He was also responsible for identifying contractual, legal, technical, or marketing risks and opportunities and making recommendations for risk management. As Contract Negotiator at HP, he was responsible for major opportunities in the pharmaceuticals and oil & gas division in the UK.
