When companies began experimenting with outsourcing, many were disappointed by the results. Expected cost savings failed to materialize; the process was often more cumbersome than anticipated; and unexpected delays and cost overruns reduced efficiency.
That’s why Peter Bendor-Samuel founded Everest Group in 1991. He understood that the fundamental principle of outsourcing was creating win/win environments that fostered long-term success for both buyers and providers.
Originally focused on IT outsourcing, the company has expanded its services to include Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) such as, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO), Finance and Accounting Outsourcing (FAO), engineering services, applications and Procurement. In addition, our industry focus has enabled us to consult on a variety of industry specific processes as well as the establishment of shared service centers globally.
Broadening our scope of services required us to bring onboard people with diverse backgrounds. We gained the ability to offer expert advice on change management, governance, speed of change, building vs. buying, core vs. non-core and other broad operational issues by deliberately adding consultants from well-respected firms with a rich depth of consulting experience...
