How do I start the recruiting process?
To learn about careers with Everest Group, you should first review this website to get a feel for who we are, the type of work we do, our working environment, our people, our locations and who we employ. If you decide Everest Group is right for you, we encourage you to search our jobs database for available positions. How do I contact a recruiter?
Due to the number of resumes we receive, we ask that you do not contact our recruiters directly. If you are being considered for a position, a recruiter will contact you to set up an interview time and will keep you apprised of your status throughout the recruiting process.
What kind of work flexibility will I have?
Our consultants lead busy lives. But, at Everest Group, we value work/life balance and are committed to helping our consultants maintain a balanced lifestyle.
How much will I travel?
A consulting position with Everest Group does require frequent regular travel to our clients' locations, which is typical in consulting work. Our consultants travel extensively, approximately 75-90% of the time, and they live in the cities that are our headquarters in those countries. Our research team members typically travel only occasionally.
Should a consultant expect international travel?
Because we have consultants located in North America, the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, India, and Australia, we often have the ability to staff client projects with appropriate local resources. However, international travel may be required, depending upon the necessary skill sets and other client requirements. Because we promote work/life balance, our goal is to avoid back-to-back international assignments and to provide return-to-home breaks during such assignments.
Do Specialists follow a different career track than other consultants?
Given the appropriate experience and training, Specialists have the ability to move into more generalist consulting roles, and generalist consultants have the ability to move into Specialist roles. Regardless of which direction an individual follows, the path from Consultant to Senior Consultant to Engagement Director to Associate Partner to Partner is equally available to both Specialists and to Generalist Consultants.
